About Our President & CEO: 
Randy D. Down, PE, CFEI has over 30 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems Engineering for a very wide range of industrial, institutional, municipal and commercial applications. He has served as a lead design engineer, project manager, engineering manager, forensic engineer and technical consultant. He is an author and contributing author for several nationally published textbooks on environmental control systems and instrumentation. He has presented papers internationally on the application of environmental control systems. He has also taught adult education courses on the application of digital and analog controls, and has been actively involved in the ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society) for over 20 years. Over the course of his career he has worked for system manufacturers, as well as consulting engineering & architectural firms. He is licensed as a professional engineer in multiple states and certified as a fire and explosion investigator nationally. His actual forensic engineering experience includes mechanical and electrical failure analysis, fire and explosion origin and cause investigation, and accident reconstruction.
Our Vice-President & CFO:
Nellie Williams has an extensive background in business operations, marketing, business development and accounting. She has over 30 years experience in banking, software sales and support, billing/practice management and forensic engineering. During her career, she has always provided supervisory expertise to her employers, and is the go-to person for DFE. She is responsible for all the behind-the-scenes tasks performed at DFE, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, budgeting, tax reporting, human resources, invoicing, report packaging and marketing.
